I've always been a songwriter. Just like I've always been a guitar player and a singer. It's only that I stopped listening. First, I got married. Then I got a real job. Soon it was a house. Eventually came the kids. Somewhere along the way I stopped hearing the small melodies that used to sing in my ear. I stopped paying attention to the words and phrases that used to fill my notebooks. But then, a miracle. In the Winter of 2017 when the world seemed to be losing itself in madness, I started to scribble out my anger, sing out my response, and soon the songs started to flow again. With the help of good friends I kept on writing and some suggested I try to record. "Why not?" I said. This album is the result of a small miracle, old friends, and a willingness to listen once again.
